Lyde, M. A. Sixth Edition, revised by John Bartholomew, M. A, F.R.G.S. 1925. University Press, Oxford. Comparing this edition--the sixth-with the earlier ones, we notice several changes in the distribution of some of the products, and in their production as shown in the diagrams. Not the least interesting is that illustrating the output of rubber. In pre-war days Brazil was represented as supplying over a half of the world's production, she is now shown as producing only about a twelfth, while Malaya's output is nearly half the world's total. THE WORLD MISSIONARY ATLAS. A new enlarged edition. 1925. Edited by Harlan P. Beach, D.D., F. R.G.S., and Charles H. Fahs, B. A., B.D. Maps by John Bartholomew, F.R.G.S., of the Edinburgh Geographical Institute. 30 double-page maps and 250 pages of text. Price £2, 2s. Edinburgh House Press, London. While the maps in the former editions of this atlas were politically coloured, in the present one they are orographically coloured in varying tints of green and brown. The political boundaries are shown in purple, and mission stations are underlined in red. In addition to the detailed maps of countries there are general maps showing mission stations, population, occupations, climate, means of traffic, and economic minerals. The atlas should find a place in the library of every one interested in missionary effort. THE NELSON UNIVERSAL HAND ATLAS. New Edition. Price 6s. net. Thomas Nelson and Sons, Ltd. This little atlas appeals to one by reason of its compactness and its dainty getup. Within the compass of a volume which can be slipped into the coat pocket there are 336 pages of maps, a General Index giving the latitude and longitude of important places, and several pages of statistical information.
